OUTLAW SPEEDWAY RINGS IN THE NEW YEAR WITH THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF ITS AGGRESSIVE 2026 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
All Regular Classes return in 2026 with pay increases along with more money going out to 2026 Track Champions. Multiple extraordinary events are dotted through the entire season from early April till late October.
Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.
(Dundee, NY) Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri may still be on the mend from serious injuries suffered in a November crash at the Dirt Track at Charlotte Speedway, but that has not stopped the 11th year owner and operator of the historic Yates County Speedway from putting together yet another mind boggling schedule of events for the upcoming 2026 season.
“Even with all the rained-out events we suffered through in early 2025, Outlaw Speedway still had our best year ever including several high dollar/high profile events with record payouts going to all our regular weekly divisions. I am pleased to announce that 2026 will be even better as the pot for each weekly division will be sweetened up even more including the overall point structure which will find each Division Track Champion receiving more money than ever before.” That is according to track owner, Tyler Siri.
Over the past several years the Crate Sportsman, Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks and Mini Stocks all found yearly track champions receiving $2,000 each. That will be boosted to $2,500 per class beginning in 2026.
The Modified Champ has received a whomping $10,000 over the past three years and that will remain for 2026.
Feature finishing positions from tenth to last in all weekly classes will receive a pay raise in 2025.
A lot of drivers work their tails off just to try and crack the top ten each week and many times they come up short. This boost in pay from tenth on back will most certainly help those teams out.
Outlaw Speedway touts some of the largest weekly car counts in the region for five adult classes along with their Youth Bandit Division which races on a limited basis.
“We have seen our car counts grow very consistently since COVID, stated Siri and when we have our early season and late season Special Events it is uncommon to find upwards of one hundred seventy-five to two hundred drivers checking in depending on the number of classes that are on the card. Along with more cars it has put more fans into the stands so I can give more back to the racers.”
Mother Nature has not been kind to Siri and Outlaw Speedway over the past several seasons in late March and April when the track historically opens for the season with practice and a number of Special Events prior to the points paying season which begins in May.
Saturday, March 28, 2026, the track will find open practice for all classes of cars and then Outlaw Speedway will swing the gates open for its 69th consecutive season of dirt track racing action with the running of the Lucas Oil Nationals on Friday and Saturday, April 3-4.
The Lucas Oil Nationals will have practice and front row dashes on Friday then Saturday it will be a full card of qualifying events leading up to features for the Modifieds which will race for $4011 to win, Crate Sportsman $2011 to win, Street Stocks go for a winners share of $1411 and rounding out the card it will be Mini Stocks and Hobby Stocks going for a winners take home pay of $1011.
The track will then bounce right back the following weekend for its second two night gig on Friday and Saturday, April 10-11 with the Dave Guererri Sr. Memorial with practice and front row dashes of Friday and a full show on Saturday with the Mod Squad fighting for $4161 to win, Crate Sportsman race for $2161 to win, Hobby Stocks and Mini Stocks each race for a winners take of $1061and the Street Stocks go for $1661 to win and $161 to take the green.
April 17 is being reserved for a Rain Date for the Lucas Nationals/Dave Guererri Sr. Memorial should weather become an issue for either event.
The Cal Lane Memorial 11th Annual Spring Nationals will wrap up April on Friday April 24, 2026, with ESS making their first of four appearances of the season with the winner of the popular 360-winged sprint car division taking home $4220. Modifieds also race for $4220 to win and Crate Sportsman run for a winners check of $2220. Hobby Stocks go for $1220 and Streets will find the winner walking away with $1520 to win. The 220 is symbolic with the car number Cal Lane ran throughout most of his illustrious career.
It goes without saying that Outlaw Speedway is offering big bucks to win in all the divisions that will be competing in April to kick off the 2026 campaign.
“I always try and start early here at Outlaw, stated Siri. There are very few if any other tracks that open this early in the region. This facility dries out quickly so if it does not rain/snow is abnormally cold we can give competitors a place to race in the early going and put a lot of money in their pockets”
The track will then open for the month of May with an event which has been staged since Covid took his life with the running of the Roy Silvers Memorial on Friday, May 1, 2026. Mods will race for $3067, Crate Sportsman $2067, Street Stocks $1567 with Hobby and Mini Stocks both winners receiving $1067. The May 1 show will also be the first point paying night of the 2026 season.
With NASCAR once again juggling the Watkins Glen date, Siri will tie his NASCAR Night and 5th Annual Ted Siri Memorial into that weekend using Friday, May 8 for the high profile event featuring the first of two ULMS Super Late Model shows paying $10 grand to the winner and with a number like that to win, it is a sure bet every available Late Model operation in the northeast will be there. The Modifieds will once again go for a high winner’s share of over $4300 to win with Crate Sportsman, Street Stocks and CRSA Sprints completing the aggressive card of events.
After no less than five high dollar events to begin the 2026 campaign at Outlaw Speedway, things will then begin to settle down a bit as Friday May 15 will see the first actual Fast 5* Show of the year featuring all the weekly classes with a $10 Admission Front Gate Ticket Price. School Bus Races will entertain the fans during intermission.

Show-up points will be awarded in all classes for this show. The Thursday Night Thunder, July 9 program will be televised live on FLO Racing.
