Racer & Fan Guide For Dutch Hoag National Open Weekend At Black Rock

This weekend at Black Rock Speedway boasts a huge lineup for Dutch Hoag weekend, which is run in honor of local racing hero and father of Black Rock Speedway owner, Dutch Hoag. There have also been some additions to Dutch Hoag weekend that will make drivers from several racing divisions give consideration to participate.
This will give an overview of the weekend schedule as well as some news and notes for drivers in those respective divisions.

**The Friday Night pit party returns!! Corn Roast, Live Music and Bon Fire just like we did at ‘The Onyx Summit’. This pit party will be Halloween-themed with costume judging paying out prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best costume.

-FREE Camping all weekend long, bathrooms behind main grandstand as well as behind pit grandstands
-Fire rings are ok for those camping, large fires with pallets and furniture are NOT permitted on Speedway grounds
Special Rules in Place For Dutch Hoag Weekend:
**Teams may rent open parking pads per night or for weekend. Space is LIMITED, call Mike at (607) 215-5697 or sign up at pit shack on Friday night.**
Modifieds: American Racers OR Hoosier Tires, must use 4 of same manufacturer
4 Cylinders:
ˇ RWD/FWD Challenge Saturday night;
ˇ ANY 8 inch tire OK, Offset wheels OK,
ˇ Cold Air Intake and Headers OK.
ˇ All other rules must be followed per Black Rock Speedway 4 Cylinder rulebook
Street Stocks:
ˇ Empire 100 rules are SAME as 2015 Black Rock Speedway Street Stocks rules package;
ˇ Dash races on Friday night qualify the winning DRIVER for Saturday night’s 100 Lap A-Main; Driver may start a different car in 100
ˇ Guaranteed Starters are guaranteed $200 to start if they attempt to qualify in through the heat race; Only Buy-In Driver is the Non-Qualifiers Winner IF they choose to take last starting spot, in which case they will need to make more than $200 to be paid out
ˇ Race Format: Draw/Redraw, Top 12 redraw on front stretch, 50 laps – red flag – 50 laps, cautions count from Laps 25-75, driver CANNOT lose a lap under a caution flag in the pits,
ˇ Flat tire yellows will be given courtesy laps at discretion of race officials until 10 laps are remaining. With 10 to go, officials not obligated to give courtesy laps for flat tires
ˇ Pit area speeding is at discretion of track officials and are final. DO NOT drive unsafely in the pits, you will be disqualified.
ˇ Lap Sponsors: Will be given like 2014- Lap 1) 1st Place, L2) 2nd place…L7) 7th place, L8) 1st place…
