Tech Inspector's Bulletin For Opening Night 2015

Tech Inspector’s Bulletin For Opening Night 2015

A few safety reminders from the Tech Inspector as everyone prepares for opening night on Friday at Black Rock Speedway.  Please review these items carefully as we cannot settle for anything less than 100% compliance to ensure the safety of all involved.

Vehicle Safety:

·         All cars in every division entering the racetrack must be using a one-way radio to hear the Race Director tuned to channel 454.000 EVEN during hot laps.  No radio, no racing.

·         Tow hooks or chains must be available on both ends of the race vehicle in the event you need to be towed into the pits.  These are a must have to prevent further damage to your car and to promote fast, efficient cleanup of an accident scene.

Additional Request For Street Stock Drivers:

·         We are asking all Street Stock competitors to indicate on the Left Front Fender the weight that their car must weigh according to the engine/transmission combination you are running.  This will speed up the process at the scales and help us run an efficient show for the fans. The weights that have been printed in the rules are as follows-

·         Street Stock 2900 lbs.

·         Street Stock/Direct Drive 3100 lbs.

·         Crate 2800 lbs.

·         Crate/Direct Drive 3000 lbs.

·         400 G.M. 3200 lbs.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you at the track Friday night.
