OUTLAW SPEEDWAY PROVIDES OPTIONS FOR THE FRIDAY, APRIL 17, 2026, PROGRAM

(Dundee, NY) After back-to-back years of terrible Northeast Spring weather, Outlaw Speedway track owner and promoter, Tyler Siri has built in an optional night of race action for the early part of his 2026 Schedule of Events.
“For several years I have built a “Night Off” into our month of April schedule. However, the past few years we have had terrible weather in April with lots of rain, cold temps and even snow, consequently what we will do in 2026 is that if we lose either the Lucas Nationals which is scheduled for April 4 or the Dave Guererri Sr. Memorial on April 11 we will then plan on racing on Friday, April 17 versus taking a “Night Off. Hopefully, if neither one of the opening two weeks shows gets knocked out, we will then exercise the option of not racing on the 17th which leads up to the 11th Annual Spring Nationals Cal Lane Memorial which is set to roll on April 24.” That is according to track owner, Tyler Siri.
In 2025 three events were on the April schedule with only one getting into the record books due to weather related cancellations. In fact, five of the first seven shows were KO’d thanks in part of Mother Nature, unfortunately for fans most race venues in the northeast fell prey to harsh weather in the early part of the “25” campaign.
“Trying to make-up shows on either Sunday or nights during the week is virtually impossible as everyone including the racers, fans and most of our staff have other commitments so we just hope that the weather cooperates on our scheduled race nights, so I’ve built in this April 17, Friday show as an option. Hopefully, we will not need it!”
If Outlaw Speedway loses either the April 4 or 11, 2026 programs everyone will then be directed to the tracks Facebook for updates to the April 17 option including classes of competition and winner’s payouts.

Following the early April 2026 events the track will then wrap up the month with the 11th Annual Cal Lane Memorial Spring Nationals set for Friday, April 24.
“This is the tracks 69th Anniversary in “26” stated Siri. Calvin Lane was a huge part of the success of this place long before I was here, in fact he barnstormed the track going back to the mid-1960’s. His legacy and his family’s involvement in Motorsports runs deep so it will once again be a pleasure for Outlaw Speedway to host this high-profile event named in his memory.”
