Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.

(Dundee, NY) After a scheduled week off on September 5 and with the 2025 Point Championships safely tucked into the record books, Outlaw Speedway will return to action on Friday, September 12, 2025, with a stacked-up card of events all in Memory of Arthur and Cynthia MacMillan.

The United Late Model Series (ULMS) will make their lone appearance at Outlaw with a huge payout including $10,000 to the winner.

Current point leader, Mason Zeigler will lead the charge of a who’s who list of top northeast Super Late Model drivers as Ziggie will be looking to pick up his fifth win in eight attempts in 2025 ULMS action.

In last year’s two ULMS events at Outlaw Speedway Dylan Yoder won the inaugural race as he was able to pass home track favorite, Dylan Cecce to claim the victory.

After a 2024 season that has been plagued with nothing but problems for Cecce, including engine woes along with a bent race car, the popular Jersey Shore, Pa. driver formerly from Bath, NY is expected to be on hand to avenge last year’s heart-breaking loss to Yoder.

In the September event, Dave Hess Jr. was able to hold off relentless pressure from 2024 Lucas Oil Late Model Rookie of the Year, Drake Troutman to claim victory.  This event had the standing room only Outlaw Speedway crowd on their feet from start to finish.

Additional top ULMS Point getters that are anticipated to be at Outlaw Speedway include Ryan Montgomery, Logan Zarin, Brock “Bam Bam” Pinkerous along with 2024 ULMS Champion, Michael Lake.

Pinkerous, who is just a rookie in Super Late Model competition recently won a non ULMS Sanctioned feature event at Stateline Speedway.

For more information including the current point standings, rules, series history and more go to www.ulmsracing.com

The ULMS event at Outlaw Speedway is part of a nine event Fall Clash Series staged at eight different race facilities all culminating on Friday, October 31 at Georgetown Speedway in Georgetown, Delaware where the overall point champion will receive $10,000.

The drivers who compete at Outlaw Speedway will receive show up points only towards the overall point title.

Also, on the aggressive September 12 card of events the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds will race for a hefty $6,400 to win the A Main feature.

Originally the Modified winner was to have picked up just a tick over $5,000, however with the help of the McMillan’s son, Booger along with track owner, Tyler Siri they each kicked in an additional $700 each bringing the total to $6,400.00.

In addition to the winner’s share, additional lap money and other bonuses will be dished out and for more details go to the tracks Facebook.

The $6,400.00 to win will certainly grab the attention of many of the region’s top Modified drivers in addition to the weekly crowd of drivers that race regularly at the highly popular Yates County Speedway including the likes of 2025 Modified Track Champion, Mike Maresca, Tommy Collins, Jeff Daugherty, Steve Paine, Ron Cartwright Jr., Kreg Crooker, Doctor Danny Johnson, Will Shields, Brady Fultz and a trio of track owner, Tyler Bossman Siri owned modifieds led by Siri himself along with Bobby Varin and Pat Ward.

Varin finished second to Maresca in the Modified Point Standings and Ward was the winner of the most recent event at Outlaw Speedway on August 29, 2025

The Knapp and Schlappi Lumber 602 Crate Sportsman will join the party with the winner claiming $2,002.00, way more than most venues typically payout so fans can expect to see a stellar turnout of cars and stars that compete in the super competitive division.

The Swarthout Recycling Street Stocks, racing for a winners’ check of $1,402 along with the Winner’s Circle Deli Mini Stocks with $1,002 going to the victor will round out the card of events.

For those who cannot attend this event the action from start to finish will be televised live on The Cushion and for a one-night subscription rate simply go to their web site for more information at www.thecushion.com.
