OUTLAW SPEEDWAY TO REMAIN SILENT ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 2025.
Night off allows teams extra time to prepare for the Double Point Championship Night on Friday, August 29, 2025.

(Dundee, NY) With the decisive point night of the 2025 season at Outlaw Speedway on the horizon, the facility will take a Night Off on Friday, August 22 allowing teams added time to prepare for what will be the biggest point night of the year on August 29.
“Each year I build three Nights Off into the annual race schedule allowing our fans, race teams and employees time away from the track to do other things in life. The way it fell this year we had scheduled nights off in April, June and we will wrap it up with this one on August 22.” That is according to Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri.
The timing would not be more perfect, allowing race teams an additional week to prepare for the season double point finale on Friday, August 29.
Outlaw Speedway pays huge money to their track champions, better than most with the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modified Track Champion pocketing a check for $10,000.
The Knapp and Schlappi Lumber Sportsman, Swarthout Recycling Street Stocks, Addison, Corning, Hornell, NAPA Hobby Stocks and Winner’s Circle Deli Mini Stock Track Champs all pick-up $2,000 for their efforts.
“This is serious business for most of the teams that are in contention, exclaimed Siri. This track pays out a lot of money to the top point finishers in each division and with the night off prior to the Double Point Finale on August 29, teams have added time to prepare their cars for what will be the biggest point night of the year.”
With Double Points on the line, it adds a tremendous amount to pressure to those sitting atop the current point battles and it also creates added drama for the fans who all have a favorite.
In recent years there have been no less than eight to ten drivers in the point standings that have a mathematical chance of winning their respective class championships.
Realistically it usually comes down to the top three or four in each class heading into the final point night, however if the stars line up just right someone sitting as far back as fifth can leapfrog over the entire pack and walk off with the track title in their class.
“The Double Points can make or break a driver’s entire season. We saw it last year in one of our classes as a driver that was leading the points going in had his worst night of the season and dropped like three or four spots in the final point standings. Now that was quite rare but just goes to show what can happen.”
After lying dormant for a week, Outlaw Speedway will return to action on Friday, August 29 for the Season Double Point Finale and crowning of all the regular weekly adult classes along with the Youth Bandit Division.
