OUTLAW SPEEDWAY OPENS MONTH OF AUGUST WITH SPCA NIGHT
Fast 5* Show on the track plus 1 on 1 Spectator Races.
Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.
(Dundee, NY) Outlaw Speedway will swing the gates for the first night of the final month of regular point paying shows on Friday, August 1, 2025.
On the Fast 5* Card of Events it will be the Friendly, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds headlining the show as the Mod Suad will be supported by the Knapp and Schlappi Lumber Crate Sportsman along with the Swarthout Recycling Street Stocks, Addison, Corning, Hornell and Wellsville NAPA Auto Parts Stores Hobby Stocks along with the Winner’s Circle Deli Mini Stocks and the Fritz Masonry Youth Bandit Divisions.
As part of the night, it will be the second and final $500 to win 1 on 1 Spectator Race of the season and after the performance the railbirds put on in the earlier season 1 on 1 Event it is a sure bet that several more drivers will test their ability on the Fast 4/10 of a Mile Oval.
Including the August 1 event there are only three point paying shows left prior to the regular season ending Double Point Show on Friday, August 29, 2025, and all eyes will be on torrid point battles in each of the five adult weekly divisions along with the Youth Bandit class.
With the numerous rained out events thus far in 2025 it has kept the point battles close not allowing anyone driver to run away and hide in their respective class and as predicted during the first part of the season, numerous different drivers have visited victory lane thus far in “25”.
Except for Glenn Whritenour (7 wins) in the Swarthout Recycling Street Stock Division and Kolton DeCamp (4 wins) in the Bandits the competition has been brisk in all other classes particularly in the Knapp and Schlappi Lumber Crate Sportsman where Donnie Lawson is the only repeat feature winner with a pair of trips to victory lane.
In the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Modified’s four drivers all have two wins thus far including Bobby Varin piloting one of track owner, Bossman Tyler Siri’s house cars along with current point leader, Mike Maresca, 2024 Track Champ, Alex Payne and invader Matt Sheppard who has made only three starts at Outlaw thus far in 2025.
Heading into the stretch run many times Outlaw Speedway NAPA Hobby Stock Track Champion, Marc Minutolo has a trio of victories with third gen pilot Daniel Kerrick next in line with a pair of wins with Mr. Smooth leading the points by a slim margin over Kerrick.
Jayson Smart is on a mission this season after losing the 2024 Winner’s Circle Deli Championship in a tie breaker, but Smart is just that, “Smart” as his four victories thus far have him in a torrid MS point battle with Rookie of the Year contender, Zach Daugherty.
It will be SPCA Night on Friday, August 1, 2025, and fans are encouraged to support their local SPCA Offices by bringing to the track pet supplies such as toys, grooming supplies, bags of food, cleaning supplies and yes, they will even accept cash.

The Outlaw Speedway Facebook is one of the most viewed sites in all northeast Motorsports, maybe even the entire US with over 3 million views per month and growing. Very impressive numbers for a local short track racing venue.
Craig “Spazman” Simmons spends countless hours each week providing Facebook viewers with a wealth of valuable information leading up to each race night event. Statistics, trivia, ticket giveaways, interviews and photos.
According to Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri, “Spazman’s” entire world evolves around our Facebook and this racetrack. The guy eats, sleeps and breathes Outlaw Speedway and the results speak for themselves. I do not believe there is another guy out there that is more devoted to a track than Spaz is!”

Camping is always free at Outlaw Speedway and fans are encouraged to bring along their rigs and spend the night, crack a beer and enjoy a warm campfire.
Two beer concessions await thirsty race fans upon entry and as we enter the Dog Days of Summer, most fans are parched when they arrive at the facility and cold beer awaits.
The Turn 4 Tavern is located right off Turn 4 in the Main Grandstand Seating Area while the Outlaw Saloon is strategically located pit side offering a beautiful view of the Fast 4/10 of a Mile Oval from the top observation deck.
Both concessions offer a large variety of iced cold beer.
Outlaw Speedway also provides great racetrack food like dogs, burgers, fries and fingers and you can smother them in hot cheese sauce and wash them down with a Pepsi Product.
The Outlaw Speedway is located at 82 Main Street, Rt. 14a in Dundee right in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.
