OUTLAW SPEEDWAY FLIPS CALENDAR TO MONTH OF JUNE WITH SWARTHOUT RECYCLING STREET STOCK $1,313 TO WIN GENE DUPUY MEMORIAL

Fast 5* Show plus 1 on 1 Spectator Races on the June 6, 2025, card.

Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.

(Dundee, NY) Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri will open the month of June with the running of the Gene Dupuy Memorial for the Swarthout Recycling Street Stock Division.

“Gene was not only a very loyal and resolute employee of this facility, but for decades he was a fan favorite when he raced here before retirement from driving.  He and his daughter ran the infield scales for several seasons at the track before he passed away unexpectedly.  I decided to run a Memorial event in Gene’s memory, and it has been well received.”

Tyler Siri then went on to say, “Gene helped make this place what it is today.  Back in the 1970’s when a Board of Directors still ran this facility, Gene played an integral part in putting fans into the stands when the facility was just fledgling along.  He drove his familiar number 13 to many wins, and it was his rivalry with other drivers like Tom Smalley, Doug Caslin and Harold Bates is what kept fans coming back for more.”

In addition to the $1,313 to win Swarthout Recycling sponsored Street Stock Division, also in action will be the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds, the American Racer Tire Sportsman presented by Knapp and Schlappi Lumber as well as the Winner’s Circle Deli Mini Stocks.

Rounding out the Fast 5*Show will be the Fritz Masonry Youth Bandits and the Hobby Stocks sponsored by the Addison, Corning, Hornell and Wellsville NAPA Stores.

In addition, it will be the first of two 1 on 1 Spectator Races at Outlaw Speedway in 2025 with the winner of the single elimination event taking home $500.

The second and final 1 on 1 Spectator Race Event is scheduled for Friday, August 1, 2025.

With May in the rear-view mirror, Outlaw will now shift its attention to three action packed nights in June along with a scheduled night off to honor the local high school graduates.
