HIGH LIMIT 410 SPRINT CAR SERIES COMING TO OUTLAW SPEEDWAY FOR THURSDAY NIGHT THUNDER!
May 16, 2024, is the date for what promises to be the biggest 410 Sprint Car Show in the history of the Yates County Oval!
Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.
(Dundee, NY) Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri along with the management team of the High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series are pleased to announce that both parties have come to an agreement on a date for the series to make a visit to the popular Yates County facility on Thursday, May 16, 2023.
“We are going to call it Thursday Night Thunder, stated Outlaw Speedway’s Tyler Siri. Over the past several seasons this track has had a great deal of success with the All-Star Circuit of Champions when Tony Stewart owned and promoted the series. As soon as I was made aware that Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson had purchased the series, I immediately went to work trying to secure a date for 2024.”
Previous winners of All Star Sanctioned events at Outlaw Speedway include Ryan Smith, Paul McMahan, Brock Zearfoss, Brent Marks, and most recently Zeb Wise and Tyler Courtney.
It has been well documented that the combination of Sweet and Larson wanted to grow their High Limit Series that had just successfully completed its inaugural season. With the purchase of the All Star 410 Series, High Limit immediately becomes one of the more prolific 410 Sprint Car Series in the country.
Many of the country’s top 410 Sprint Car drivers will be at Outlaw for the May 16, 2024, Thursday Night Thunder Event including the likes of Sweet and Rico Abreu who will run the entire series in “24”. Former NASCAR Star, Kasey Kahne has also committed to the 2024 High Limit campaign.
Several other top 410 drivers and teams are still in negotiations with High Limit and as they commit more information will be made available.
Larson will compete in the High Limit Series as his schedule permits.
A slew of Pennsylvania Posse 410 Sprint Car Teams and drivers will also participate in as many High Limit Events as possible including the likes of full -time drivers, Anthomy Macri and Brent Marks just to name a few.
“High Limit is sticking with what made the series so popular in 2023 by running mid-week shows to entice more cars while at the same time not putting teams in jeopardy of choosing home track weekly shows versus High Limit events. Flo Racing will televise all the shows which gives each participating track even more exposure.” That once again according to Outlaw Speedway owner, Tyler Siri.
Siri feels confident that this show will top any other ever put on at the famed Outlaw Speedway which in 2024 will celebrate its 67th continuous year of providing great dirt track race action for the Upstate New York Region.
“We are pulling out all the stops for this show including what will undoubtably be a massive crowd. I will be putting a designated safe spectator area in the infield of the facility which will include rest rooms, food and beverages including a beer concession. With many of the very best 410 Sprint Car race teams on the planet coming to Outlaw Speedway we want to make this a memorable experience for everyone.”
As part of the May 16, 2023, Thursday Night Thunder Show at Outlaw Speedway the Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Modifieds will be on the card as well as the Sunrise Insulation 602 Crate Sportsman along with the Brocks Bowl and Pizzeria Street Stocks all running for huge purses.
With the show scheduled for Thursday night, Outlaw Speedway will then lay dormant for the regularly scheduled Friday night program on May 17 with racing to then resume on May 24, 2024.
So, save the date and make your plans now to attend the inaugural running of the Thursday Night Thunder High Limit 410 Sprint Car Series at the Outlaw Speedway set for May 16, 2024.
