OUTLAW SPEEDWAY TO TAKE BREAK ON FRIDAY, JUNE 9, 2023
The popular Yates County oval will lay dormant to give drivers, crew’s, fans and employees a night off.

(Dundee, NY) After a busy month of May which included a pair of high-profile touring groups including the All Star Circuit of Champions 410 Sprint Car Event as well as the RUSH Crate Late Models, Outlaw Speedway owner/promoter, Tyler Siri will give everyone a break with the first of three scheduled “Nights Off” during the 2023 campaign.
“We start early at this track, earlier than any other venue in the state and we run well into the fall with a couple season ending special events in September and October. Add in one Tuesday night special and it makes a long year for everyone involved at this place. The fans, drivers as well as my dedicated staff need a break from time to time just to play catch up and spend time away from the racetrack.” That according to Tyler Siri.
As part of the 2023 schedule of events the track will lay dormant on three Friday nights including June 9, July 21 and August 25 allowing everyone at least a one night break each month during the hectic mid-season.
“People have some much going on outside of racing anymore with kids sports, weddings, reunions, vacations and family get togethers that they get to spread out. Even the drivers need a night off occasionally as they can get burnt out or cash gets low. This is a win/win situation for everyone. Everyone knows way ahead of time what nights we are off so they can make their plans accordingly.”
The Outlaw Speedway will then return to action on Friday, June 16 with Firefighter and EMS First Responder Night which will include a Super 7 Show along with the $1,000 to win CRSA 305 Sprint Cars as they will come rolling into the Dundee, NY facility.
“Fans love the winged sprints at this place, consequently I try and book them in as much as possible, exclaimed Siri. On this year’s schedule we have 410, 360 and 305 sprints which give fans a taste of all three different divisions.”
