OUTLAW SPEEDWAY WASHED OUT. ROY SILVERS MEMORIAL RE-SET FOR FRIDAY, APRIL 28, 2023
Super 7 Card will be a full make-up after steady rain showers nix April 21 points opener.
Story by Kenny Shupp Jr.
(Dundee, NY) A steady ban of showers crossed the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York while drivers were competing in heat race competition at the Outlaw Speedway this past Friday leaving track promoter, Tyler Siri with no other choice but to pull the plug on the event.
“We were hoping to dodge the rain than came across the area, but it came at the worst possible time, so we had to cancel for the night. All the heats were not completed so we will start all over again next Friday.” That according to Siri.
With the rainout the Roy Silvers Memorial will be made up next week on Friday, April 28 with the traditional 7:30 pm start time.
Grandstand passes, pit wrist bands and all freebie tickets will be honored on the 28th and the 50/50 will be rolled over as well.
The season points for all divisions will begin when drivers return on April 28.
