CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT AT OUTLAW SPEEDWAY TO OFFER DOUBLE POINTS IN ALL CLASSES
IMCA Modified and American Racer Tire make-up features to start off the August 30 event.
(Dundee, NY) The ownership and management team of the Outlaw Speedway are keeping their fingers crossed that rain will stay away from the Yates County race facility on next Friday so that the final event of the 2019 season can get safely tucked into the record books and a lid can be placed on the regular season of events leading into post season special events.
According to track owner, Tyler Siri, “We have been trying desperately to get these last few events in prior to Labor Day. We still have a couple make-up features that need to be run prior to our Championship Night Double Point Feature Races on Friday,, August 30. We really were hoping to get the make-up features completed several weeks ago, but Mother Nature just keeps throwing curve balls at us. If we can just catch a couple next Friday night we can complete the regular season and crown our 2019 point champions.”
The point battles in each of outlaw Speedway’s regular weekly classes of action are way too close to call and with Double Points on the line on Championship Night everything could change.
Prior to the Regular Super 7 Show on August 30 there will be make-up features in both the Marion Decker Insurance IMCA Modified as well as the Sunrise Insulation American Racer Tire Divisions. Then the gloves will come off in all the classes as Double Feature Points can make or break a racers season.
The Friendly Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram Modifieds will headline the card as they will be complimented by the DIRTcar Hoosier Tire Sportsman and the Sunrise Insulation American Racer Tire Sportsman.
Also seeing action will be the Stan’s No Tubes Classy Street Stocks, the Mighty 4 Cylinders along with the Marion Decker Insurance sponsored Hobby Stocks and IMCA Modifieds.
All gate times and admission prices for the August 30 event will be posted on the tracks Facebook as well as all other pertinent information regarding the event. Simply go to www.Facebook.com/OutlawSpeedwayLLC/.
