(Dundee, NY)  With a very unfavorable weather forecast, Outlaw Speedway track owner, Tyler Siri and his partner Jordan Lynch pushed forward in trying to get the August 16, 2019 event into the record books. With a multitude of rainouts thus far this season and already in a position of having to make-up several feature events for some classes that had been rained out earlier this season every attempt was made to complete the event in its entirity.  Like so many other race venues across the region, the popular Yates County speed plant has butted heads with Mother Nature numerous times this year and in every case has lost the battle.

“This is extremely frustrating, stated Outlaw Speedway owner, Tyler Siri. We have had so many total or partial rainouts this season that we have lost count.  We are trying desperately to get these regular shows and the make-ups into the books prior to Championship Night on August 30.   Outlaw Speedway pays very good money at the season ending awards banquet for the top point getters and it is imperative that we get these completed, however Mother Nature has had other ideas.”

The point battles in every class are tight within the top five which will force competitors to race hard these next few weeks as they all chase the illusive track titles in their respective classes of competition.

In addition to a regular Super 7 Show there were to be a pair of other make-up features from partially washed out events from earlier in the season as the Mighty 4 Cylinders as well as the Sunrise Insulation American Racer Tire Sportsman were to run double features on the night.  To add even more drama next Fridays event is to host a Regular Super 7 Show with make-up features in the IMCA Modifieds as well as the Sunrise Insulation American Racer Tire Sportsman.

As of this writing the track management is still weighing all their options to get everything in to the books prior to 8/30/19.

As an updated schedule comes available it will be posted on the tracks Facebook and web site accounts.

This coming Friday, August 23 it will be Dundee Pantry Night featuring a Super 7 Show with make-up features.  The night of action is sponsored by Vines and Barrels Liquor Store of Bath.
