(Dundee, NY)  After a brutal 2 month stretch of racing at the Outlaw Speedway, the track will take a much needed break on Friday, August 10.

“When we set up our 2018 schedule of events that included a very hectic month of July and barring any rained out events we figured by the time August rolled around the racers, our staff and even many of the fans would need a night off.  This will give everyone involved the opportunity to regroup, reenergize the batteries and prepare for the remainder of what will be a very aggressive upcoming stretch run throughout the remainder of August and September”. That according to track owner, Tyler Siri.

Several race drivers and teams have even indicated that they appreciate a break in the schedule to give themselves and their families time to do something different, particularly teams that are locked into point battles and can’t otherwise afford to miss a night of competition as Outlaw has an outstanding point fund which awaits the top point finishers at seasons end.

The next event on the 2018 schedule of events is set for Friday, August 17 as it will be Boy Scout Night featuring a Super 7 Show, a bicycle give a way and the return of 1 on 1 spectator racing.
