(DUNDEE, N.Y.) – It all comes down to Friday night at Outlaw Speedway. Track championships will be on the line, as well as double points, during Friday’s event sponsored by Suburban Propane.
It’s also Law Enforcement Night with all law enforcement officials receiving free admission just by showing their department ID at the general admission gate. Outlaw Speedway and Suburban Propane are proud to honor the men and women who serve and protect our communities each and every day.
“One night of appreciation will never make up for everything our friends in law enforcement do for us in our community, but we are happy to welcome them into our facility this week,” said Outlaw Speedway owner Tyler Siri.
“This is a big night for us as we also welcome our partners from Suburban Propane, who have supported us greatly in 2016 and will be a part of racing in Dundee for years to come.”
Double points will be on the line for all divisions except for the Farmers Insurance IMCA Modifieds. IMCA sanction rules will not allow for double points in their division. With two points separating first and second and five points back to third, the IMCA division will have a tight battle even without double points.
But for all other divisions, double points will determine the track championships for 2016, which pay $5,000 for the Modified champion and $1,000 for the remainder of the Super Six division champions.
The Four Cylinders will take the green flag at 7:00 with their makeup feature from last Friday night. No laps were on the board at the red flag, which will bring about an original restart except for the three cars involved in the red flag.
The racing card will see competition for the Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Ford Big Block/Small Block Modifieds, Crate Sportsman, Crate Late Models, Farmers Insurance IMCA Modifieds, Creekside Entertainment Street Stocks, Four Cylinders and Winners Circle Deli Bandits competing in their ten-lap feature event.
General admission gates swing open at 5:00 for just $12 for adults ages 13 and up, and $10 for Senior Citizens. Children 12 and under are always FREE at Outlaw Speedway. Camping is also always free on the grounds as well. Pit gates will open at 4:00PM, with pit passes being $30 for this great show planned on Friday night.
