Friendly Dodge/Ford Teams Up With Outlaw Speedway For Dundee Food Pantry Donation

(DUNDEE, N.Y.) – This past Friday night at Outlaw Speedway, race fans and representatives from Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram and Ford worked together to collect canned food items to donate to the Dundee area Food Pantry.
Representatives from the Dundee Food Pantry were on hand to collect and box the canned goods to be donated and offered their thanks to the fans who donated. With two canned food donations, race fans could attend the racing program for just $5.
Over the course of the last six months, the Dundee Food Pantry has assisted 1,000 families that need their assistance to put food on the table each week.
When gathered for the photo after all donations were collected, Outlaw Speedway Marketing and Sponsor Relations Manager Peter Meskill said, “When you hear how many families the local food pantry helps out, you start to understand how important events like this are for our community. Outlaw Speedway is committed to being a productive and supportive member of the Dundee community.”
“We are just thrilled to be a part of this night because we love racing and being a helping hand in our community,” said Bryan Ryan from Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram. “The local community has been very supportive of our business over the years, and this is just small way for us to give back.”
Representatives from the region’s leader in Dodge Ram sales were on hand to promote their business that has grown into a Yates County icon. A representative from the Penn Yan location, Holly, waved the green flag for the Friendly Dodge/Ford Big Block/Small Block Modified thirty-lap event.
The Friendly brand of dealerships also includes their Ford dealership on Routes 5&20 in the city of Geneva. It was a big night for the local dealerships that not only sponsor food pantry night, but the Big Block/Small Block Modifieds as well as the official safety truck of the Outlaw Speedway.

Outlaw Speedway is located at 82 Main St in Dundee, NY and holds dirt track racing weekly on Friday nights from mid-April through Labor Day Weekend in September.
