(DUNDEE, N.Y.) – Thursday Night Thunder is going to make history at Outlaw Speedway tomorrow night as Tyler Siri’s newly purchased track will finally be able to kick off the 2016 season after three Friday nights filled with rain.
Thursday’s race will be the first points show for all weekly divisions as the Friendly Dodge and Ford Big Block/Small Block Modifieds, Crate Sportsman, Crate Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Creekside Entertainment Street Stocks and Winners Circle Deli Bandits will take to the track for an electric show on the Outlaw Speedway clay.
Modified contenders will see the likes of the Siri Racing team made up of Tyler Siri and Modified rookie of the year contender Jordan Siri. The Johnson boys in Danny and Alan will make their first starts of 2016 as well. Billy Van Pelt, defending track champion Steve Paine, Gary Tomkins, Derrick Podsiadlo, Donnie Lawson and Brady Fultz will also see action.
They will all have to contend with Waterloo, NY pilot Matt Sheppard as ‘Super Matt’ has expressed that his BS Motorsports team will bring their No. 9s out to play for Thursday Night Thunder. With the wet weather in the forecast for the weekend, Thursday may be your best chance at seeing racing this weekend!
The Patriot Sprint Tour rain date that was scheduled for this Friday will be made up at a later date. Outlaw Speedway will race this Thursday instead of Friday night in an effort to beat out Mother Nature’s incoming weather this weekend.
The first feature winners in Outlaw Speedway will etch their names into the record books this weekend and you won’t want to miss any of the action on the ‘Fast Four-Tenths-Mile’ located in Dundee!
