For Immediate Release – May 13th, 2016

(DUNDEE, N.Y.) - No, this isn't a joke.  Mother Nature once again is brining rain to Dundee, NY on a late Friday afternoon and early evening.

With the major threat of afternoon and evening-long rain, Outlaw Speedway was forced to push their opening night activities back to Friday May 13th.

"With the major threat of incoming rain and teams traveling as far away as 6 hours from Canada, we just didn't have a choice," said Outlaw Speedway owner Tyler Siri.  "Believe me when I say we want to go racing as badly as everyone else does.  We just can't believe our luck so far this season trying to get a show in."

The Patriot Sprint Tour was already scheduled to be off next Friday and with their tour making a Saturday stop at Woodhull, a reschedule date of next week worked out perfectly.  That sets up opening night with 360 Sprint Cars again and also sets up the first two shows for Outlaw Speedway including the winged warriors.

With the Grand Opening moved back to Friday May 13th, Little League Baseball Night will usher in the new season on the dirt located in Yates County as well.  It will once again be a headline joined by Dirt Modifieds and a full card of racing with the Friendly Dodge & Ford Big Block/Small Block Modifieds racing for $2,000-to-win and $200-to-start.

Rain checks from the Outlaw Spring Nationals will now be good for next Friday May 13th or the May 20th Outlaw Spring Nationals which was rescheduled from the April 22nd rainout.  50/50 tickets from April 22nd will be added to the May 20th drawing, so hold on to those tickets!

General admission gates open next Friday night at 5PM and will be $20 for adults, with Seniors and ages 13-17 being $18.  Children 12 and under are always FREE at Outlaw Speedway.  Pit passes next Friday will be $35 with pit gates opening at 3:30PM to help get all regular teams and sprint teams into the pits in a timely fashion.

The headlining Modifieds and Sprints will be joined by the Crate Sportsman, Crate Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Creekside Entertainment Street Stocks, Four Cylinders and Winners Circle Bandits.  More information on the Friday May 13th show will be fortchcoming, stay tuned to www.outlawspeedwayllc.com for more information.
