For Immediate Release – May 4th, 2016

(DUNDEE, N.Y.) - Winged Sprint Cars return to Outlaw Speedway on Friday night for a jam-packed night of excitement on the 'Fast Four-Tenths-Mile.'

It will be the third consecutive week where Outlaw Speedway attempts to hold their season-opening event as rain has been the story for the past two Friday nights.  A tremendous amount of work and resources has gone into transforming the property located in the heart of the Finger Lakes in Dundee, NY.  First-year owner Tyler Siri and staff is ready to show off all of that hard work.

Mike Emhof's Patriot Sprint Tour is ready to kick off its American Series Tour for the 2016 campaign, as they too lost a race event last weekend to rain.  What this sets up is a monster show where both Outlaw Speedway and the Patriot 360 Sprints will converge on the clay as perennial favorites Kyle Drum, Jared Zimbardi, Bryan Howland, Tyler Graves and George Suprick will be in town.

There are also a few teams from 'North of the Border' in Canada that have hinted at making the trip to Outlaw Speedway on Friday night.  Outlaw's Grand Opening could see a great mix of both Patriot and ESS supporters as the ESS tour comes to town just two weeks later.  Drivers and crews are looking to get a grip on the track surface after track crews added clay in some trouble areas in the offseason.

The Friendly Dodge and Ford Big Block/Small Block Modifieds will be ready to battle their first race of 2016 as Outlaw Speedway rolls out their weekly $2,000-to-win, $200-to-start program.  Drivers like Steve Paine, Tyler Siri, Danny Johnson, Gary Tomkins, Brady Fultz, Billy Van Pelt and many many more look to claim their first piece of the pie when the gates swing open on Friday night.

The headliners will be joined by the Crate Sportsman, Crate Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Creekside Entertainment Street Stocks, Four Cylinders and Winners Circle Bandits.

Rain checks from the Outlaw Spring Nationals will now be good for either this week's Patriot Sprint Show OR the May 20th Outlaw Spring Nationals which was rescheduled from the April 22nd rainout.  50/50 tickets from April 22nd will be added to the May 20th drawing, so hold on to those tickets!

General admission gates open Friday night at 5PM and will be $20 for adults, with Seniors and ages 13-17 being $18.  Children 12 and under are always FREE at Outlaw Speedway.  Pit passes on Friday will be $35 with pit gates opening at 3:30PM to allow all teams to get into the facility in a timely fashion.
