(DUNDEE, N.Y.) – Work continues at Outlaw Speedway to improve the physical property in preparation for the opening night Outlaw Spring Nationals. With that, comes an increased effort in promoting and marketing the facility purchased by Tyler Siri this offseason. Sponsors continue to pour in to help fill out the season schedule and sponsor one of the seven Outlaw Speedway divisions.
Division Sponsors
Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford recently made headlines as the weekly sponsor for the Big Block/Small Block Modified division for this season. Their dealerships located in Penn Yan, NY and Geneva, NY will also sponsor Outlaw Speedway’s new Safety Truck for the upcoming season.
Friendly has also picked up sponsorship for $5 admission night on June 10th. Fans can bring a canned food item to donate to the Yates County Food Pantry and receive regular admission for $5.
Creekside Entertainment has increased their sponsorship involvement, sponsoring the Street Stocks in 2016, after sponsoring the Bandit youth division in 2015. Headquartered in Newark, NY, Creekside Entertainment offers wedding and party DJ’s, two Photo Booths as well as an 18-light LED uplighting service.
Winner’s Circle Deli out of Dundee, NY expands on a partnership with Outlaw Speedway in 2016 after offering several gift card giveaways during the course of the 2015 season. This season, the Winner’s Circle will sponsor the Outlaw Bandit division- a youth 4 Cylinder division designed to allow the future of dirt track racers to gain valuable on-track experience in a low-pressure environment.
Nightly Sponsorships
There are plenty of sponsorship opportunities at Outlaw Speedway that don’t involve a season-long commitment such as the nightly racing sponsor program. Local businesses can pick an available date on the season schedule to sponsor that gives their business a great deal of exposure at that event. There are two VIP booths located on the front stretch that are designated for the nightly sponsors where up to 20 guests can join in on the fun!
Lanes Yamaha leads the way on Friday April 22nd as their business located in Watkins Glen, NY quickly signed on as the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Dash for Cash sponsor. The 360 sprinters will start their 2016 points campaign at the Outlaw Spring Nationals which also touts a $3,000-to-win Modified kickoff where some of the best competition in the Northeast is expected to compete.
Elm Chevrolet returns to Outlaw Speedway in 2016 as a night sponsor on Friday June 3rd that also happens to be DARE Program Night at the races. Elm Chevrolet, located in Elmira, NY, will be on hand as well as resource officers and staff from the Yates County DARE Program to help educate race fans and fight the use of illegal drugs in our communities.
Friday July 1st will be a marquee event on the race calendar this season, as D.B. Miles Insurance Agency will once again sponsor the speedway’s $12,000 Fireworks Extravaganza. This is always a big night for the speedway and the community with one of the largest crowds of the year expected to kick off your Fourth of July weekend.
RK Howell Gravel Products joins Outlaw Speedway in 2016 as a new sponsor for SPCA Night on July 29th. The racing card will also include the 305 Sprint Cars of the CRSA Tour as well as the Fight Night All Star Street Stock Series. RK Howell has also sponsored a billboard along State Route 14A which will be a new addition to the Dundee, NY facility in 2016.
A longtime supporter of Outlaw Speedway in A-Verdi Storage Containers will return for MRO Celebrity Night on Friday August 5th. The Patriot Sprint Tour will invade for this annual event as well as the Xcel 600 Modifieds, in what is a huge weekend of racing in the Finger Lakes.
Another longtime supporter of Outlaw Speedway, M&W Aluminum Products will return in 2016 to sponsor Night #1 of the Outlaw Fall Nationals on Friday September 23rd. The 360 Sprint Cars will return on this night for a $5,000-to-win challenge race between the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints, Patriot Sprint Tour and United Racing Club organizations. This is just phase one in what hopes to be a return of the two-day 360 fall sprint nationals that could take shape in 2017.
Billboard Sponsors
One major change for 2016 that race fans will notice when they arrive on the property, located at 82 Main St in Dundee, is that there will be sponsor billboards that line the property line along State Route 14A. The standard fencing that was recently torn down had allowed passerby’s to park along the highway to take in the action- creating a safety hazard. The Yates County Sheriff’s and New York State Police can be commended for their efforts to curb the use of the “cheap seats” as they’ve become affectionately known as.
Local sponsors like Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford, Community Broadcasters, D.C. Rauscher, Simmons-Rockwell and RK Howell Gravel Products have all signed up to line State Route 14A.
Victory Lane Sponsors
Instead of the traditional line of sponsor billboards along the front stretch of the speedway, 2016 will see those sponsor’s ads be incorporated into the newly constructed Victory Lane. The infield will also be hydro seeded to produce a much more professional look to the infield area.
Sponsors like Elm Chevrolet, the Maguire family of dealerships, Lanes Yamaha, NAPA of Addison, Off Shore Marine (OSM) and Mac’s Dairy Bar & Mini Golf will be featured in that area of the speedway.
