For Immediate Release – April 1st, 2016

(DUNDEE, N.Y.) – Outlaw Speedway owner Tyler Siri, Speedway Sales, Marketing and Operations staff member Peter Meskill and Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford General Manager Bryan Ryan are proud to announce a partnership with the Penn Yan and Geneva dealerships to sponsor the Big Block/Small Block Modified division for the 2016 season.

This announcement comes just 23 days away from the season opener where Siri and his staff will usher in a new era at Outlaw Speedway.  Siri purchased the Yates County dirt track and facility from Dean Hoag in February and has wasted no time in transforming and re-naming the four-tenths-mile clay oval.  Clay has been added to the track, old and worn fencing has been taken down, trees and shrubs trimmed away, new digital scales installed, new equipment added to the track fleet, new High Definition cabling and televisions added to all seating booths and concessions, new food preparation equipment and a new timing and scoring system have all been crossed off the list since Siri took over less than 60 days ago.

The new owner of Outlaw Speedway has made a tremendous investment in the Dundee, NY facility, and the addition of a well-known division sponsor like Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford proves that local business owners are taking notice.  Ryan spoke to the splash Outlaw Speedway has made in the local community and the desire to get his business involved with that positive momentum.

"We are excited to partner with Tyler Siri and the all new Outlaw Speedway," Ryan said.  "We look forward to working with Outlaw Speedway and all the racers and fans in and around our community.  In addition to the Modifieds and Safety Truck, we have decided to support the Friday June 10th event supporting the Yates County Food Pantry.  We at the Friendly brand of dealerships look forward to this opportunity to give back to the community that has supported us so well for many years."

The Friday June 10th program will feature a canned food drive with all donations supporting the Yates County Food Pantry.  Race fans that bring a non-perishable canned food item with them will receive their general admisssion ticket for $5 instead of the normal $12 admission price.

Friendly Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep is located at 2499 State Route 14A in Penn Yan, NY- just 10 miles North of Outlaw Speedway.  They are a small, family-owned and operated business that takes great pride in serving their local community and beyond.  Friendly Dodge maintains a large inventory of new and pre-owned Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles.  Also offered at their Penn Yan headquarters is a top tier service department, a fully stocked inventory of OEM car parts and more specials and incentives than you'll know what to do with!

The Ford dealership under the Friendly banner is located at 875 Routes 5 & 20 in Geneva, NY- just 26 miles North of Outlaw Speedway.  They offer reliable Ford models such as the Fusion and Focus as well as the 26,600 pound towing capacity, 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel of the 2016 Ford F550.  For the speed and performance enthusiasts, Friendly Ford also features the 2016 Shelby GT350.  Friendly Ford is the only dealership in New York State licensed to sell Roush, Saleen and Shelby Mustangs.

Not only will Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford be involved as the Modified division sponsor, they will also provide the speedway with a safety truck for use during the 2016 race season.  Fans will see the safety truck flying the Outlaw Speedway and Friendly name starting on April 15th, when there is a scheduled practice session open to any race car on any tire.  Siri summed up the new deal with the Friendly brand of dealerships in three words.

"This is awesome," said Siri.  "The fans and drivers are excited to get the race season started and local business owners like Bryan are getting in on the fun too.  Outlaw Speedway is going to be a dirt track destination on Friday nights and the support from Friendly Dodge and Ford is a big part of that."

Outlaw Speedway will now feature the Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford Modifieds, Crate Sportsman, Crate Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Creekside Entertainment Street Stocks, 4 Cylinders and Winner's Circle Deli Bandits.  The opening Outlaw Spring Nationals on Friday April 22nd will be historic as the Modifieds will race for $3,000-to-win in leg number one of three for the Insinger Performance/Sunoco Race Fuels Outlaw Challenge.

If the Modified winner that night can also win the Outlaw Fall Nationals and Dutch Hoag National Open, they will take home an eye-popping $25,000.  The Friendly Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ford Modifieds will also race for $2,000-to-win on a weekly basis and receive a minimum of $200 for taking the green flag.  The track champion of the division will receive a $5,000 championship for their efforts.

Joining the Modifieds during the Outlaw Spring Nationals will be the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints, led by 6-time and defending tour champion Steve Poirier.  The first full points race for the ESS 360's will take place on this night with the tour racing for $2,000-to-win, $250 to take the green and the dash being sponsored by longtime supporter Lane's Yamaha out of Watkins Glen, NY.

In fact, Dundee, NY resident 'Mr. ESS' Malcolm Lane holds the all-time record for ESS wins at the facility known over the years as Dundee Raceway, Black Rock Speedway, Yates County Speedway and now Outlaw Speedway in 2016.  With other tour regulars Jason Barney, Sammy Reakes IV, Paul Kinney, Matt Tanner and Chuck Hebing hungry for their first wins of 2016, this show will be a cannot miss!
