For Immediate Release – March 8th, 2016
(DUNDEE, N.Y.) – As the excitement builds for the first season operating under the Outlaw Speedway name, owner Tyler Siri and staff have been hard at work preparing for one of the best seasons for the Dundee oval in recent memory.
This week they are proud to announce two division sponsors that have aligned themselves with the speedway to add to the excitement. Creekside Entertainment out of Newark, NY and Winners Circle Deli located in Dundee, NY have signed on as division sponsors of the Street Stock and Outlaw Bandits respectively.
Creekside Entertainment, owned and operated by Stewart Ovens returns in 2016 as division sponsor of the Street Stock division after sponsoring the Bandit division in 2015. Their company offers the most affordable, high quality wedding and party DJ's, two Photo Booths and wireless LED Uplighting units to serve events of any style and capacity. Creekside Entertainment services areas including Western New York, the Finger Lakes, Central New York, parts of Eastern New York, the Southern Tier and Northern Pennsylvania.
"Outlaw Speedway has always been a part of our family between our family racing here, attending races here or sponsoring some of the best talent the speedway has to offer," said Ovens. "What Tyler and his staff has already done and will continue to do is transforming the track we all love to go to on Friday nights. We are ecstatic to be a part of the speedway and one of the best shows of the night in the Street Stock division."
The Creekside Entertainment Street Stocks will race for $500-to-win on a weekly basis and will receive $50 just to take the green flag in the feature. There are two Fight Night All Star Street Stock series events scheduled so far on Tuesday June 7th and Friday July 29th. The annual Empire 100 is slated for Saturday October 22nd.
Outlaw Speedway is proud to welcome Winners Circle Deli of Dundee, NY as the Outlaw Bandits sponsor for the 2016 season. The division will be known weekly as the Winners Circle Deli Bandits.
The Bandit division is designed for young drivers ages 12 to 16, who have an interest in learning how to drive a full-size stock car. It grooms the future of the local dirt track drivers in our region and was the brainchild of Lin and Cindy Hough back in 1998, when they discovered a caveat in the track's insurance that would allow for drivers as young as 12 to race in the larger cars that compete weekly. The Bandits race in four cylinder cars and can race in the division until they turn 16, where they then have the option to either finish the season in the Bandits or move up to the adult four cylinder division.
Winners Circle Deli is located at 20 Main Street in Dundee, less than a mile down the road from Outlaw Speedway. They are open 7 days a week and offer the finest in deli meats, store made soups, chili, salads, made-to-order subs, sandwhiches, coffee and donuts. Winners Circle first became involved with the speedway last season, offering gift certificate giveaways to fans and weekly racing winners. 2016 will see them step up to sponsor the Winners Circle Deli Bandits in what could be one of their most competitive seasons in recent memory.
2015 track champion Jeff Daugherty has committed to moving up into the adult four cylinder divisions while racing locally and will open the door for a new champion this season. Several other division front-runners turned 16 and will be forced to move up this season as well, now allowing drivers like 2015 Sportsmanship Award winner Pixie Kinner, Dakota Evans and Ajay Potrzebowski Jr to take their turn at the top.
