Hot Wings TV Returns for August with First Full Event from 2011

Rich Vleck, ROCHESTER, NY (Aug 5, 2011)- It was difficult to get a full event taped this year to display on Hot Wings TV, but not only was the first episode recorded, it ended up being a wild night of racing.

 

Last Month’s sprint car event at the Black Rock Speedway headlines the third Hot Wings TV episode of 2011.  The event that was dual-sanctioned by the Empire Super Sprints and Patriot Sprint Tour showcased some of the best drivers in the Northeast going hard on one of the area’s most exciting racetracks.

 

Along with complete coverage of the three heat races and 25-lapA-Main is coverage of hot laps, B-Main and dash action.

 

Host Doug Elkins returns with color commentator Rich Vleck to detail the night of action, with Greg Birosh also returning as pit reporter. 

 

In addition, the last four races on the Patriot Sprint Tour are recapped in the “Races from Other Places” Segment, including events at Brockville, Rolling Wheels and Woodhull.

 

Recent Patriot Sprint Tour Winner Scott Kreutter was spotlighted in this episode’s “Patriot Profile” as Rich Vleck discusses with the Alden, NY driver all aspects of his racing career.

 

Greg Birosh has also logged a new edition of the “Hot Wings TV Tech Tip” as he takes a look at the dry sump system on the high-performance vehicles.

 

Hot Wings TV will air on Time Warner Cable Sportsnet Channels across Upstate New York.  Nearly two million homes will have access to this third episode, which will run through Labor Day.

 

Scheduled airtimes are listed below for Central and Western New York.  The airtimes in the Albany Market are still to be determined.  Those slots, like all others, are listed on the all-new show website, www.HotWingsMedia.com.
