Black Rock Practice Cancelled Friday April 4th

DUNDEE, NY - Persistent rain and wet conditions have cancelled the practice scheduled for tonight at the Black Rock Speedway.

With the importance clearly placed on the 2008 Opening Program, held tomorrow, Saturday April 5, featuring a pair of 50-lap features for $5,000-to-win for the Sportsman and Street Stocks, BRS management saw it best fit to focus the pre-race preparations of the 4/10-mile oval on the Saturday event.

With mild and sunny conditions in the forecast, it is all systems go for Saturday, with race time starting at 4:00 p.m., which will put the bulk of the program in the daylight, keeping things warm for all parties involved.

Those interested in still practicing are invited back next Friday, April 11, when Black Rock is again open to all classes for testing and tuning, starting at 6:00 p.m.
