Black Rock Runs Friday, Postpones Saturday Event to November 8

DUNDEE, NY - While it was a pleasant fall night for racing on Friday Night at Black Rock, the forecast for Saturday will hamper the rest of the weekend.

The Black Rock 250, featuring the Street Stock World 100 and the BRP CanAm Championship, has been postponed until Saturday, November 8. All of the classes and all of the starting times will remain the same.

The feature on Friday was the 77-lap enduro was dominated by Ronnie Hill, who passed Harry Ely Jr. for the lead one lap shy of the halfway point.

The race featured 43 cars and just one stoppage on lap four when a car rolled over in turn three. The remainder of the race saw Hill slice through the pack, coming from his dead last starting spot to win by nearly a full track.

Natasha Clark dominated the special ladies 4-cylinder feature event, leading all 10 laps to score the big trophy and a free haircut from Beauty Craft Salon in Dundee. Former Adult 4-Cylinder runner Kim Jennejohn crossed in second with past bandit winner Courtney McMinds completing the top-three.

Ladies 4-Cylinder Feature (10 Laps)- NATASHA CLARK, Kim Jennejohn, Courtney McMinds, Crystal Ayers, Kailey Wassner, Devin Dean, Nita Hartman, Val Stephens.
