OUTLAW SPEEDWAY LOSES FIRST EVENT OF 2021 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Racing set to resume on May 7 with Mother’s Day Night Super 7 Show.

(Story by Kenny Shupp JR.)

(Dundee, NY) With a gloomy forecast of rain, snow and extremely high winds, Outlaw Speedway owner, Tyler Siri decided it was in everyone’s best interest to cancel the April 30, 2021 event at the track.

“It’s been a topsy turvy week that’s for sure, stated Siri.  One day its like summer and then the next day it calls for snow and high winds.  I decided to pull the curtain early rather than have everyone on the fence all day.  The Weather Service is calling for unfavorable weather throughout the day and into the night so let’s call it early and everyone can make other plans.”

Thus far in 2021 Outlaw Speedway has experienced particularly good weather in getting in the first three events of the season into the books including the Lucas Oil Nationals, the Cindy Lane Spring Nationals and the first Regular Season event featuring the weekly Lane’s Yamaha 360 Sprint Division.

Siri went on to say, “I have no complaints about the year thus far.  We had incredible weather and huge car counts the first two weeks.  Last week things settled back a bit as it was cold, but that’s April for you. Let’s hope that as we flip the calendar to May the weather will become more consistent thru the summer months.”

All pit and main grandstand seating gate times will be posted on the track's Facebook as well as any changes regarding the New York State Health Department guidelines on fan admittance.  Simply go to www.facebook.com/OutlawSpeedway LLC/.
