MRC Chassis Signs On As Title Sponsor Of BRS Street Stock Division
DUNDEE, NY – For Immediate Release – April 28th, 2015
Street Stocks are the perfect step up from the entry level ranks of any dirt track to the premier division of the speedway. Black Rock Speedway’s Street Stock division is no different but being a street stock driver racing for points at Black Rock just got a whole lot sweeter.
Russell Morseman from Morseman Racing Chassis located in Addison, NY announced on Tuesday afternoon that MRC Chassis would be stepping up as the division sponsor for the remainder of the 2015 season. Part of their role as division sponsor will be rewarding the 2015 Street Stock track champion with a brand new 2016 MRC Chassis frame valued at over $2,600.
MRC Chassis will also be rewarding Street Stock drivers as follows throughout the 2015 season:
· At the season’s halfway point, the driver ranked 5th place in points will earn a $444 gift certificate towards a 2016 MRC Street Stock Chassis
· The winner of October’s Empire 100 will earn themselves a $444 gift certificate towards a 2016 MRC Street Stock Chassis
· The first non-qualified car for the Empire 100 will also earn a $444 gift certificate towards a 2016 MRC Street Stock Chassis
This support of the Street Stock class is something that stemmed from Morseman’s support of the 2014 Empire 100. Several product and chassis certificates were handed out last October including one to current MRC Chassis competitor Gene Balmer. Balmer finished a very close second in the 2014 running of the 100, in a race that had the fans on their feet with eventual winner Kurt Stebbins.
A fine field of 17 Street Stocks entered into competition on opening night last weekend and that number is only going to grow. With over 20 points-paying races on the card in 2015, nobody is out of the running for the championship just yet.
